You’ve tried Slimming World, Weight Watchers, weight-loss jabs, Aunty Jean’s herbal concoction, but nothing works.

It’s time to sing!
Singing together is a fabulous and easy way to lose weight while you’re having fun.
Here’s how it works
-
no time to eat — you’ll be so busy having fun and concentrating on
the songs that there will be no time to eat. Also, choir rehearsals tend to
be at awkward times: too early to eat beforehand and too late to eat
afterwards.
-
no money left to buy food — with all those choirs and singing
workshops and songbooks and courses, you’ll have no money left to buy food.
-
exercise and breathing — the warm up exercise and all that breathing
(especially in an overheated rehearsals space) will see the pounds falling
off.
-
nerves are an appetite suppressant — whether it’s joining a new
choir, learning a new song, or performing in public, you’re bound to get
nervous. Another great way of suppressing your appetite.
-
need to fit into choir costume — if you perform, you’ll need to make
sure you fit into your choir costume. This is especially important if
concerts are few and far between. You certainly won’t want to pay for a new
costume, which is incentive enough to stop eating too much.
-
music is enough sustenance — the nectar of the gods will be quite
sufficient to sustain you. No need for real food with all that lovely music.
- cakes become less appealing — it’s very hard to sing on full stomach so you’ll find that you just go off all those tempting cakes and chocolate bars. It’s simply not worth it.
-
snacking is out — even little snacks are out because you can't sing
with your mouth full.
And best of all, if you keep singing, the weight will stay off.
